ABOUT

  Erick Odmark is an experienced advisor to institutional investors, family offices, and senior executives. Erick serves institutional investors and families in areas such as outsourcing, governance, and performance evaluation. In addition, throughout his career, he has led assignments in strategy, M&A, and operations, and has served in interim management roles. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, consumer products and services, and media.

Previously, Erick was a senior manager at Bain & Co., a management consulting firm. At Bain, Erick served as a leading member of the firm’s private equity group, managing both transaction due diligence and portfolio company strategy engagements in partnership with some of the most successful LBO funds in the industry. Erick also advised corporations on growth strategy, corporate portfolio strategy, marketing, and organizational design. 

Prior to Bain, Erick worked in the Bankruptcy and Turnaround practice at Price Waterhouse, in a group that subsequently became FTI Consulting. At PW, Erick represented debtors and creditor groups in financial restructurings and operating turnarounds, as well as commercial litigation. His work included assignments in airlines, savings and loans, and investment banking. 

Erick received his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, where he was awarded the Carter Fellowship for the highest academic performance in his class. Erick is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he received his BA in the Political Economy of Industrial Societies with an emphasis in Economic Policy analysis and was named a Chancellor’s Scholar. He currently serves on the Finance Committee of the Society of the Sacred Heart, as well as the Investment Committee of the Orinda Network for Education.  He recently served on the Board and Investment Committee and chaired the Finance Committee of the Spencer Foundation.
